See Fort Myers, Even From Afar
Even if you’re not here, it will feel like you are near. Live webcams let you see different parts of the Fort Myers area — all on your own schedule. To make it even more interactive, you can take control of the cameras and change their positions, so it’s practically as if you’re here in person.

Peer into a quiet corner of Cape Coral with the new butterfly web camera at Rotary Park. Pointed at the Tom Allen Butterfly House, you’ll have a firsthand view of native butterfly species. Through this interactive webcam, you can watch butterflies flitting about an enclosure filled with lush foliage and colorful flora. We recommend putting on some soothing background music and enjoying the view!

Catch sight of manatees floating around Manatee Park in Fort Myers. While these warmer waters tend to attract sea cows during winter months, the park is open year-round and always worth a look. Say “hi” to the Pirate Manatee statue and enjoy a peaceful perspective of the Orange River.

On the northern tip of Pine Island is the Bokeelia Fishing Pier. Enjoy golden views of the sun rising and setting over Charlotte Harbor.

Get a taste of local life from downtown Fort Myers. Among the many angles, you can spot pedestrians around the intersection of First & Jackson, drop in on the patio of Izzy’s Fish & Oyster or get a close-up perspective of the Caloosahatchee River. Our tip: Check out the camera just after dark so you can see the historic River District under the glow of streetlights.
Most cameras are live from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, with prerecorded timelapses available in the off hours. Click here to access them and enjoy the show!
